Well, no one guessed what April's form was gonna be, so I'll tell you! It's The Blue Marble pic that NASA took that you can see here. I decided for April, there's really no special holiday, but there is EARTH DAY!!! So what I'm going to do is start beading on my already painted "blue marble", but not be realistic about it. I'm going to meditate as I bead, & pray for our planet as I work. It will be interesting to see what comes out of it! And me!
But for March...I'm DONE! Woo hoo! There were a HECK of alot of beads on this one! I wanted to give it the feel of looking into one of those fancy eggs that have scenes inside them. And I wanted to honor the changing of the season from the snowy winter with it's bare branches, into the colorful freshness of spring flowers. Here's a couple views:
And for those of you who think all I do is bead...read below! :)

Wow, very impressive !
It seems to me you have made a lot of progress in your art since you opened your Etsy shop.
CC - my favorite flowers - daffs. They are beautiful. Heidibeads
CC-- this is so sweet! Really beautiful, and carefully executed! FABULOUS!
Thanks Helene, Heidibeads & Krispis! I was surprised at how heavy this one got at the end with all the beads! My "Blue Marble" is smaller. I think I'm learning! ;)
Helene, I think this group has inspired me to be better, but I also think that by using Sherry Serafini's "Backstitch 2" in the book "The Art of Bead Embroidery", my work has really gotten more accurate. But I've learned so much since joining BJP!!!
Warmest aloha,

I love it. All those beads together are wonderful and sparkly.
Thanks freebird! You're so sweet!

I totally LOVE your idea for April and can't wait to see it. March turned out beautifully. Yeah, lots of beads, heavy... but so fabulous how you captured the sense of those fancy eggs. Love it!
