OK...so the last "mug" I put in here for the EDM challenge was an old one! I cheated! So I figured I better get myself back to it, & do a new one. It's above.
As you can see by the pic below, I was inspired to get back to the challenges after re-reading one of Susan Branch's keepsake books that she illustrated. I'm not sure if it's the formality of doing something in order, or what, but I sure am having a hard time doing these! I will sketch ideas, designs, etc in my regular sketch book, but the idea of putting something into my moleskine seems to be more "precious". I know I'm the only one who thinks of it that way, but it stymies me! Hopefully I'll get past that block soon!

Some people don't put their drawings in their moleskines. I tend to put mine into a book labeled for EDM challenges. I see the challenges as a step towards growth which may or may not warrant being in my moleskine but I try to have things that have more "story" to them (than just be a drawing challenge) in my moleskine. I have put some EDM challenges in it but only if they personally mean something to me. My eyeglasses are in it but that's because I recently had surgery and now no longer need those glasses. I drew them in my moleskine as an experience lived rather than an EDM challenge. Don't feel guilty if you want to put special stuff in one book and challenges don't fit that scenario. Just use two books.
By the way, your page turned out great and you turned the mug challenge into a moleskine worthy page! :).
Hi! I just wish I could think of my moleskine the way I do my regular sketchbooks! And the EDM challenges. For some reason they seem like more of a "test" to me instead of the fun I usually have. So I need to figure out what's going on with that critic inside! ;) But I'm glad you liked the moleskine worthy page!

CC - this is really good! I need to get back to the challenges too, it's been awhile. Thank you for your comments on my beaded heart! Marva
Thanks Marva! I'm glad you thought it was good! After seeing your finished moleskines, I think I need to really hop to it!
